Rachel Bennett
Barrister

Rachel is a barrister with over 20 years’ experience working in the legal field. She specialises in cases where neurodivergence plays a significant role. As the founder of NeuroThrive Law™, she focuses on helping families navigate family law and special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) law with clarity and understanding.
Rachel was called to the Bar in 2002. Before commencing practice as a barrister, she gained extensive experience in a range of roles, including work as a paralegal, practising as a solicitor, and lecturing in law.
Her work bridges family law, SEND law and neurodevelopmental difference, drawing together legal expertise, professional experience, and lived understanding as a neurodivergent barrister and SEND parent carer.
Rachel combines robust legal analysis with a calm, neuro-affirming approach, ensuring clients feel respected, supported and in control throughout their legal journey.
She studied at Trinity College, Cambridge University, and at the Inns of Court School of Law. Outside practice, she enjoys singing professionally, spending time with her family and cats, and outdoor activities including sea swimming and walking.
Rachel, like all of our barristers, is self-employed and works independently.
