This access is available by all forms of modern communication. This is especially relevant with the current social distancing measures that are understandably in place. Courts are operating and our remote approach falls in line with theirs. Hearings tend to be held by telephone at the moment, but we know they are looking to use more video conferencing in the not too distant future too.
Most of our work is done remotely. This means geography is not a barrier to us or the parents that we help. Twenty first century technology is vital for what we do. It also means that we keep our overheads down.
In the past a solicitor was required to instruct a barrister. Due to rule changes under the Public Access Scheme, members of the public are now able to instruct barristers direct.
