If you are involved in court proceedings about your child, there will be lots of words and phrases used in the court room which are new to you.
One of these is Schedule of Allegations or Scott Schedule.
A Schedule of Allegations is a summary of numbered allegations one party to the case makes against the other. Usually this is one parent making the allegations against the other.
The accused parent then responds to the allegations.
The purpose of the document is for the Judge to see a summary of what each parent is saying.
In disputes between parents these schedules are used most often to address allegations of domestic abuse or harm to the child.
If there is a fact finding hearing the Judge will use the schedule as the basis for the hearing. The Judge will make a finding as to whether or not each allegation happened.
