Parental Alienation Day

For those parents who have experienced the trauma of their child being alienated from them, Parental Alienation Day is not a day to celebrate.

It is however a day to raise awareness about Parental Alienation and its devastating impact on children.

Parental alienation is when following divorce or separation a child for no good reason rejects one parent as a result of the influence, either conscious or subconscious, of the other parent.

The key with parental alienation is to tackle it early with the right legal and professional input.

If left to continue over the long-term it can cause emotional harm to your child. This can be difficult to repair.

The legal system in this country is only starting to get to grips with parental alienation. Many Judges and professionals do not fully understand it.
